Neopreg will be at JEC 2012-Paris PDF E-mail

W
e are pleased to announce that Neopreg AG, Vyncolit NV and Sumitomo Bakelite Europe NV will participate on the JEC 2012 days which will be held in Paris on the 27, 29 and 29th of March 2012.

We would like to welcome especially all participants to discover our KINEL®, NEONITE® & POROPHEN®, our long fiber (LF) solvent-free composite compounds produced by Vyncolit-Neopreg.

Long Fiber (LF) composite compounds are supplied in the form of long flakes of unidirectional fibers (carbon, glass, aramide, basalt or combination of them).

Thanks to the Neopreg patented solvent free production process, fibers can be impregnated with a variety of thermosetting resins such as phenolic, polyimide, epoxy, etc...

The LF composite compounds are used for mass production of high performance molded parts within cost-effective industrial processes. With their outstanding thermo-mechanical properties, Vyncolit-Neopreg composite compounds (Kinel®, Neonite® and Porophen®) are predominant in the development of high-tech applications, with focus on Automotive, Industrial and Aerospace components. Vyncolit-Neopreg provides a full suite of technical assistance to customers from initial design to prototypes in its European technical center.

Vyncolit NV in Gent (B) and Neopreg AG in Gelterkinden (CH) belong to Sumitomo Bakelite Co., Ltd.

We cordially invite you to participate in the event and look forward to meeting you on our stand A32 in Paris.

Long Fiber Engineering Materials PDF E-mail

Neopreg AG is a producer of long fiber thermoset materials marketed under different tradenames such as Kinel®, Neonite®, Porophen™ or Vyntec LF™.

Based in Gelterkinden (Switzerland), Neopreg AG has unique technology for producing long fiber composites that complements technologies used by its mother company Vyncolit.

Working closely with customers, an extensive range of plastic molding composite compounds has been developed to meet the most demanding Industry requirements.

O
ur engineering long fiber composite materials are obtained by powder impregnation of continuous fiber.

Various fibers (carbon, glass, aramid, mineral) are highly impregnated with various polymers (polyimide, epoxy, phenolic...) thanks to a patented 'solvent free' process.

The resulting materials exhibit:

  • High mechanical properties
  • High impact strength, high notched impact strength
  • Solvent free compounding - RoHS compliant
  • Available grades for injection, compression or transfer molding processes
