Neopreg AG is a producer of long fiber thermoset materials marketed under different tradenames such as Kinel®, Neonite®, Porophen™ or Vyntec LF™. Based in Gelterkinden (Switzerland), Neopreg AG has unique technology for producing long fiber composites that complements technologies used by its mother company Vyncolit. Working closely with customers, an extensive range of plastic molding composite compounds has been developed to meet the most demanding Industry requirements.
O ur engineering long fiber composite materials are obtained by powder impregnation of continuous fiber. Various fibers (carbon, glass, aramid, mineral) are highly impregnated with various polymers (polyimide, epoxy, phenolic...) thanks to a patented 'solvent free' process. The resulting materials exhibit: - High mechanical properties
- High impact strength, high notched impact strength
- Solvent free compounding - RoHS compliant
- Available grades for injection, compression or transfer molding processes
